So what does this mean for your online business? It gives you the chance to get more exposure and branding through Google Image Search, as well as organic listings in Google itself.
It’s another advertising and marketing string to your bow, so to speak. Especially when Google is starting to add images into their organic search results, when people are searching in it’s main search engine.
Here’s a screenshot of a search I done, before writing this article.
It’s also important to mention that in the screenshot above, Google is also indexing video into their search results. There’s a video from YouTube on page 1 as well.
Then take a look at the actual link some more example links below.
Google Search Keyword Phrase. Falcon XR 6 Turbo

So just imagine if you could get not only an organic listing in the Google’s Top 30 results. But at the same time having your image listed in Google Images.
The getting your images from your website listed in Google’s top 10-30 results takes a little research and optimising. However getting images listed in Google images is quite easy.
All you have to do is get your Webmaster/Web Designer to optimise your images, with keywords relative to your markets and target audience. They need to look at:
Image and Webpage Title Names
Image Alt Tags
Actual Image Name for example, “XR6 Falcon.jpg”
Meta Data
Image Descriptions
External Linking
The above with carefully researched keywords targeted towards your market equals extra traffic to your website. Some savvy marketers have even gone as far as setting up different images targeting multiply long tail keyword phases, extracted from the one original single keyword.
You can brand your products, services and yourself as well as your company logo. Even going as far as watermarking each image at the bottom with your company name or website Url.
As I said just another string to your marketing arsenal!
